Products and services must be purchased and installed between June 1, 2021, and May 31, 2025. Rebate applications must be postmarked by June 1, 2025.
Please submit one application form for the completed major measures rebate within 90 days of the installation of the major measures or date of a blower door test if air sealing was performed Installation of major measures must be completed within 120 days from the date of the energy audit.
Individual measure rebate amounts cannot exceed total cost of installation.
Quality Assurance reviews will be conducted by FirstEnergy and/or CLEAResult representatives. Work completed by a participating contractor will be reviewed on a random basis. Work completed by a homeowner will be reviewed in every case.
FirstEnergy’s Pennsylvania utilities and/or their designees including program administrators and evaluation contractors reserve the right to review installations to verify completion and measure energy savings to ensure compliance with all program requirements. Such reviews will be made at a time convenient to the applicant. Misrepresentation of installation location or measure eligibility may result in forfeiture of the rebate.
Applicant must be a Pennsylvania residential customer of Met-Ed, Penelec, Penn Power or West Penn Power, FirstEnergy’s Pennsylvania utilities. It is the responsibility of the customer to assure that all requirements for the rebate are met, including submission of required documents, such as, receipt of the products and/or invoice from a participating contractor. Failure to provide any of the required information will prevent processing of your application.
Rebate payments are based on the date of service. Customers must abide by the rules and rebate levels in effect on the date of purchase.
Program procedures, requirements, and rebate levels are subject to change and/ or cancel without notice and are subject to available program funds.
Payment will be issued to the account holder and service address on record with applicable FirstEnergy Pennsylvania utility, unless otherwise indicated to issue to contractor.
Please allow up to 90 days from the date all required information is received to process your rebate(s). Installations must be completed in accordance with all laws, codes, and other requirements applicable under federal, state, and local authority and follow manufacturer’s instructions or guidelines.
You are urged to seek appropriate consultation concerning any tax liabilities that could be associated with the receipt of the rebate.
FirstEnergy’s Pennsylvania utilities and CLEAResult®, their parents, subsidiaries, employees, affiliates, and agents assume no responsibility for the performance of the equipment or equipment warranty, the quality of the work, labor and/or materials supplied, and/or the acts or omissions of the participating contractor.
The customer hereby agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FirstEnergy’s Pennsylvania utilities and CLEAResult®, their parents, subsidiaries, employees, affiliates, and agents from any and all liability associated with this project.
